How coupons are doubled.

Stores that say they double to a dollar will not exceed a dollar amount. If the stores says it will double up to .99 cents. It means you could get as much as 1.98$ if you have a .99cent or free whichever is less . This is Giant's policy. They also only double one like coupon. So if you have two boxes of cereal and a coupon for each one. They will only double one . You will get face value for the other one. I hope that answered your question.

  1. I posted this question on Facebook yesterday but I'm not sure I worded it properly. I do understand Giant's doubling policy but I know most stores in my area double up to .99 cents. Do you know of a Giant in the Philadelphia area that doubles coupons up to a $1.00? I have a bunch of $1.00 coupons that I'd love to see doubled. Hope I "cleared" that question up and thanks for your time.

  2. Hi Ms Ruth,
No to answer your question. They do however run a dollar doubler promation at times when you have a minimum purchase;then they will double up tp 6 $1 coupons. Kmart also runs a up to $2 dollar doubler promotion which isn't always advertisd.

  3. Joyce, I was at Kroger's and I had a 75cent coupon that did not double. They also say that they will double up to a dollar but the manager says that only applies to 50cents or less. Does that sound right?
